Ports
Technomar has experience in over 200 port projects, covering Maneuverability Simulations, port projects using PIANC recommendations, mooring arrangements, ATON projects, risk analysis, and more. Our services are conducted in accordance with the regulations required by the Brazilian Navy.
The company markets and installs its navigation simulator, the TMS (Technomar Maritime Simulator), which can be used for crew and pilot training, feasibility studies for new operations, and incident analysis.
Technomar has developed LPS, VTS, and VTMIS systems for port monitoring, enabling safe navigation, increased efficiency, and operational control. The company offers its own monitoring software (Technomar Traffic Service), as well as specifying and installing the necessary equipment (AIS, RADAR, cameras, etc.) to implement a Monitoring Center.
Offshore
Technomar is a company specialized in naval and offshore engineering, focusing on platforms, vessels, and mooring systems. Technomar conducts studies such as hull sizing/optimization, mooring and riser systems, downtime analysis, among others. For this purpose, numerical simulations (fast and real-time), scaled-down model tests, and CFD are utilized. These analyses are essential for evaluating safety in offloading maneuvers, dynamic positioning, loading on hawser/mooring lines, and determining operational capacity (uptime).
Technomar has also developed and implemented its own technological solution for Offshore Monitoring. This tool aims to optimize and ensure the safety of offshore oil exploration and production operations. It captures data from satellites, AIS, sensors, and environmental conditions, monitoring and simulating in real-time the performance/behavior of platforms and support vessels for the next few days, allowing operations to be planned in favorable environmental windows.
Recently, Technomar has been developing innovative concepts for floating structures for offshore wind energy generation and digital twins. These projects are carried out in collaboration with renowned universities such as USP, UTokyo, and NTNU, utilizing advanced artificial intelligence resources.
